How does the season change which route you should pick?
- Central / Dampier Strait, 4–5 nights. Cape Kri, Sardine Reef, Blue Magic, Manta Sandy, Arborek and Mansuar sit close together. The most weather-flexible route, and the natural fit for Easter or shoulder months.
- North / Wayag, about 7 nights. Landings are ranger-controlled. Calm October–April seas give the best conditions, and in windier months routes tend to push north and central.
- South / Misool, 7–10 nights. The long crossing from Sorong is the constraint. Plan Misool inside the core season; from June to August that crossing can be rough.
